According to this study textile sector lost 23 to 65 per cent production for 8 hour shift and 21 to 60 per cent production lost in 10 hour shift due to interruption of electricity supply. The losses due to energy crises at sectoral levels of Pakistan's industry have not been analyzed earlier.
